Wedding bouquets vs. summer heat

Here's a note sent to brides last summer as the heat soared.  It's good advice and worth sharing as the thermometer this week has reached 34*C.

Dear Bride:

A very important note follows - if you have any questions or concerns
regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of my staff.

With the forecast temperature in excess of 30*C, I urge you to treat your bouquets with extra care: keep them in a cool place as much as is convenient and when possible, place them in water. Just as you will need to keep hydrated on Saturday your bouquets will benefit greatly from a drink of water throughout the day as well. Corsages and boutonnieres may also be effected by the heat - limiting their exposure to the extreme temperature would be advisable.

Please do not leave your flowers in a car/limo, vehicle trunk or directly in the sun. An air-conditioned environment is ideal.

We are taking every precaution to ensure your flowers are perfect for your wedding day but that is limited only to the circumstances for which we have control.  The weather and temperature's impact on your flowers is
beyond our scope.
A little water and consideration on Saturday will go a long way. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a magical day Saturday.

Dalia
