Canada's Most Beautiful Bouquets for 2014

So proud and honoured to be in the company of some of Canada's top floral designers.  Wedding Bells magazine announced this week their 2014 picks and my bouquet was one of those selected.  This achievement is quite a thrill.  It's certainly refuelled my passion but not that I needed a top-up ;)

From the florist: "For this bouquet I was inspired by vintage couture. This classic European-inspired arrangement features chic, white blossoms offering enticing texture and luscious aroma, with an accent of timeless pearls. This bouquet is suited for the romantic bride with her own distinguishing style."

Flowers: White sweetheart roses, lily-of-the-valley, stephanotis, freesia, phalaenopsis orchids, hyacinth, and gypsophila all resting on a maple twig frame and wrapped with heirloom ribbons and whimsical eyelash trim.

The maple-twig 'nest' which supports all the flowers took almost 6 hours to construct.

The aroma from the lily-of-the-valley, freesia, hyacinth and stephanotis was intoxicating.
